Overview

The GCSE (Full Course) in RS is divided into three:

  • Ethics (2 hour exam)
  • Christianity (1 hour exam)
  • Islam (1 hour exam)

Year 11 Key dates

Mock exam dates:

  • Monday 4 December – Islamic beliefs, Islamic practices, 1 hour
  • Monday 11 December – Ethics (Relationships, Good and Evil, Life and Death), 1 hour

Revision sessions for mocks

  • Tuesday 21st November – Islamic Beliefs, Room W3
  • Thursday 30th November – Islamic Practices, Room W3

Revision sessions for GCSE:

  • Thursday 18th April – Good and evil, Room W3
  • Tuesday 23rd April – Life and Death, Room W3
  • Thursday 2nd May – Relationships, Room W3
  • Wednesday 8th May – Human rights, Room W2

Thursday 9th May: GCSE Ethics Exam, 2 hours

  • Tuesday 14th May – Christianity Beliefs, Room W2
  • Wednesday 15th May – Christian Practices, Room W3

Thursday 16th May: GCSE Christianity Exam, 1 hour

  • Wednesday 22nd May – Islamic Beliefs, Room W2
  • Thursday 23rd May – Islamic Practices, Room W3

Friday 7th June: GCSE Islam exam, 1 hour
